Grasshoppers FC is an independent soccer club located in Sandy, UTAH.  Head coach and team manager Stephan Knubel founded GFC after years of paying costly club fees and coaching fees for his son’s to play competitive soccer.  Stephan grew up playing competitive club soccer in the Sandy area, when coaches were true volunteers.  They received no compensation, nor did they expect it.  Stephan has revived this model and offers a quality competitive soccer experience for boys who want to learn the game and become the best players they can with ZERO club and coaching fees, $0.00.

 

GFC was founded on 3 main principles:

 

Positive, Age Appropriate Coaching.

 

Soccer Fundamentals Emphasized.

 

              Love of the Game.

For players and parents who have expressed interest in playing for our team, we currently have a full roster and will not be accepting new players for the Spring 2010 season.  Once the spring season ends in May 2010, we plan on holding open tryouts to fill any vacant spots on the team.  If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
